Air Liquide Healthcare provides the home oxygen service to patients on behalf of the NHS under the guidance of a National Framework. As part of this we are committed to providing a quality service to healthcare professionals and their patients and to:
- Process your HOOF within the required timeframes and to provide confirmation to you that we have/will process
- Contact new patients to arrange the initial installation, part of which will include a desk based assessment
- Provide full training to the patient and/or carer at installation and as required
- Provide training and support documentation to patients
- Complete a follow up desk based assessment with all new patients within 2 weeks of their first installation
- Complete a risk assessment of the patient's property at installation and then every 6 months
- Service equipment 3 months after the initial installation and then every 6 months
- Escalate any concerns identified with the managing healthcare professional
- Provide a support line for healthcare professionals between the hours of 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday
- Provide a 24 hour support line for patients
- Support healthcare professionals in the appropriate equipment selection for their patients
- Provide a full reporting suite to enable healthcare professionals to access their patient data
